Last week I forgot to post anything - although it was not a bad week - 4/5 week days I think.
I have started today with the parable of the sower and Psalm 119:11-15. Verse 14 struck me in conjunction with the parable - It is in obedience that we find our happiness, not in riches (or success). I think God may be saying, as my small group runs Alpha, that it is our job to do God's calling, and not worry about the results. There is a freedom in that - we will not be judged by the responses of others but in our response to God's calling.
I am off to Edinburgh overnight tonight with the train there and back I will make time to pray for you both - and Dave's decision in particular.
